Check Point’s Infinity Global Services (IGS) recently concluded its first ever Cyber Park World Championship, a global competition designed to challenge and inspire the next generation of cyber defenders. In partnership with CheckMates, Check Point’s community of cyber security professionals, and Cympire, an advanced cyber training partner. The championship brought together hundreds of participants from across the globe to compete in realistic cyber ranges, showcase their technical mastery, and preform collaborate in high-pressure simulated environments.
The Cyber Park platform, part of Check Point’s Infinity Global Services Training Programs, offers hands-on cyber simulations and training designed to help organizations upskill their teams, strengthen cyber resilience, and prepare for the evolving threat landscape. The platform reflects Infinifty Global Services’ broader mission to empower organizations through continuous learning, practical experience, and expert-led guidance that turn knowledge into measurable cyber resilience.
A Global Cyber Arena
Each event tested participants on real-world attack and defense scenarios, including network protection, incident response, and threat investigation. The competition featured four events: an EMEA-APAC and EMEA-Americas semi-finals, followed by two finals events for each GEO, where top-performing players demonstrated exceptional analytical and strategic skills.
“The competition refreshed my memory on technical skills while spanning a diverse range of expertise, from Red Team to Blue Team strategies.” said Alan Chung, the who scored first-place in the APAC-EMEA challenge . “It evoked the thrill of stepping into a client’s office as a security consultant to tackle a live incident—or immersing myself in a capture the flag (CTF) challenge, where every twist demanded unexpected skills, keeping the experience dynamic and endlessly engaging.”
“A platform like cyber park can help in learning and trying out new things without risking our own environment” said David Van Zeebroeck, the champion of the EMEA-Americas competition. He noted an important takeaway for al cyber security professionals “AI is here to help both defender as attacker and should be used by defenders and pen tester.”
